Once upon a time there was this group of idiots. We'll call them the "Village Idiots" for now. One of them came up with a great idea. He said lets ride our bikes from Cabo to San Diego. Now this would be an excellent idea if this individual had any fucking idea where he was going. So, of course, the "Village Idiots" threw aside all common sense and organized the trip and somehow didn't die. That was the beginning, the first years ride was 1994. Since then, we have changed our group name to "Si Baja". Not that the "Village Idiots" wasn't appropriate, but we were getting older and somehow thought we were maturing. The "MisAdventures" came after a few nights sleep in the middle of the desert. Now over the years we have added to the membership(see members) and now have a much larger group of dumbasses. For some stupid reason, every year this group trusts their lives to one particular dumbass called Miguel. He has convinced all of them that he knows what he is doing and they follow him religiously. A few years ago the members decided to add Costa Rica as part of the destination. We all learned on that trip that it is possible to have a 21 day trip in 11 days. JUST DON'T SLEEP. It is refreshing to see how much more mature and responsible we have all become over the years. Well this year is the big one. Santa Veronica to Cabo San Lucas(including one night ride) then fly to Costa Rica for a week of river rafting, repelling, zip lines and of course consuming enough alcohol to kill a small herd of rhinos. Yes it should be a peaceful, relaxing, carefree adventure coupled with lots of........... rest
